In 2001, brothers Chuck and Gary Armbruster purchased the Cleveland-based Mayflower agency, Campus Movers. In the 25 years prior to their purchase of the business, the brothers had been two of the business’ most well-respected and hard-working owner-operators. The reputation of the Armbruster brother’s has been the foundation for what has become Armbruster Moving & Storage, Inc., an award-winning agency driven by quality service and a family culture.
In the 17 years since Chuck and Gary’s purchase of the business, Armbruster Moving & Storage has grown to be one of Mayflower’s leading agencies. Today, Armbruster is one of Mayflower’s most-awarded agencies and still maintains the reputations set forth by the Armbruster family many years ago. And while many of the Armbruster family still work diligently within the business, the business’ family-driven culture and reputation for success has also attracted some of the industries best talent.

The President’s Quality Award is the highest honor given to any Mayflower agent and is based on a variety of quality indicating factors including; consistently high customer rankings, outstanding claims ratio, excellent safety ranking and outstanding “willingness to recommend” score.
Mayflower recognizes the top moving companies, within the Mayflower family, dedicated to quality moving performance based on customers feedback and a number of quality measures detailed by customers in a comprehensive Customer Survey Process. Previously known as the Customer Choice Award.
The Heart of Quality Award acknowledges excellent individual performance as measured by Mayflower’s customers on a post-move survey. Winners and honorable mention recipients are chosen for their performance efforts during each calendar year. Honorees are chosen amongst the move coordinators at more than 300 domestic Mayflower agencies. As an integral part of the moving process, it is the move coordinator’s role to serve as a single point of contact for the customer and all service providers throughout the complete move process. Move coordinators ensure that the relocation experience is successful from preparation through to the final delivery stages.
